Races begin @ 10:00am
Come out for a day of fun and competition.  Along with the outrigger races, we will have a variety of entertainment, fun and games for the kids.  Food is also available for the audience and participants with a $5 donation.  Please feel free to bring your friends, family and children to cheer on your team and enjoy the festivities.
There are 4 divisions for the race.  Men's, Women's, Coed (min 2 female paddlers) and Kids (Under 18 years old) divisions will be set up in a tournament style brackets.  Each team will consist of 5 paddlers (a steersman is provided), and will compete in a minimum of 2 races of 500 yards. Participants can compete with multiple teams, but only one team per division. Registration fee for each team is $250 and can be paid online or the day of the event.  
We will again be having our team uniform/costume contest.  Prizes will be given to the winners of the best team uniform, so come on out and show your team spirit!

If you would like to participate but are unable to field a full team, please email info@getup8.org.  We will be compiling a "free agent" list and find you a team to join.

TRAINING AND PRACTICES ARE AVAILABLE

Whether you are a first time paddler or part of a team that would like to train together, you can schedule practices through Get Up 8 Foundation.  Practices are $15 per person & available 7 days a week until one hour before sundown.  There are two locations available for practice sessions.  Email info@getup8.org with your requested practice date, time and number of paddlers.  The two locations and organizations conducting the practices are:
